Suminoe Textile of America (STA) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Suminoe Textile Ltd. which originated in Osaka Japan over 125 years ago. STA began operations in April 2003 in our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Gaffney SC. We are strategically located in the textile region of North and South Carolina, utilizing the wealth of textile history and experience found in this area. STA’s commitment to quality was recently recognized through our ISO/TS16949 certification through TUV.
